More about me

I’m Shayla Khezr, a Colombian UX Designer.

I’ve been designing since a young age, from creating personal posts and video edits for fun.

Growing up in a town where the lack of accessible design was visible every day, I discovered a passion for creating experiences that are inclusive and usable for everyone :)

My journey into UX hasn’t been traditional. I taught myself English as a teenager, which opened new doors and perspectives I never imagined. This experience sparked a lifelong drive to learn, adapt, and create.

That same curiosity continue to guide me as a designer today.

The Personal Side

Outside of design, I’m a cat lover at heart. For years, I shared life with Sharlie, the sassiest, cuddliest little companion who taught me the beauty of softness and presence. She’s no longer here, but she left paw prints on my heart.I’m a proud Latina, and I carry my culture everywhere I go! But ever since I was little, I’ve had an adventurous spirit and a big desire to see the world and expand my perspective. So when I’m not designing, you’ll probably find me petting a random cat in another country or on the hunt for the best ramen in the world.
